Summary:
Kiki,a young witch living in Europe, has recently turned 13 and as all witches do she must go out on her own. She leaves her home and moves away and gets a job at a bakery as a deliver on her broomstick. She learns valuable lessons and meets new friends. Along the way,
she discovers the types of people, friendships and experiences that people come across in their life (most people?).
My Opinion:
This movie was great. It has have a gentle and well written story.The animation is steady, characters are fun, and the music is just
wonderful. There are a lot of cool scences like when they ride over the sea on thier broomstick into town. This is definitely one for your movie collection if you collect DVD's or anime. Some parts are kind of long and uneventful but they set in the story.
Rating : Suitable for Family Viewing - Some parts are kind of long and might not hold the attention of impatient kids.
I think there are many good role models throughout the movie. Kiki's underwear shows when she rides her broomstick , but
there is no nudity, sex, or foul language. Even though the movie is about witches they are all good witches,
so no evil spellcasting or anything else that might be considered
objectionable for nervous parents.
